The Solid Lath Shutter is an extension of the well proven and successful range of commercial vehicle
shutters re-designed and produced to suit the requirements of the shop fitting industry.
Ideal for most applications and widely used on shop fronts, counters etc. Where security is the principal
consideration, the Solid Lath Shutter has a plain but attractive appearance and can provide the
finishing touch to a variety of situations.
Unique inter-locking section available galvanised steel or treated alloy. Patented inter-locking nylon end shoes to ensure extremely smooth and quiet operation.
Specially designed alloy bottom rail inter-connects with main lath section to accommodate a full range of
locking devices. Heat treated alloy side channels help prevent grille curtain from being forcibly
removed.
The main curtain unit is constructed from a unique inter-locking lath section which is available in either galvanised steel or heat treated alloy. Each lath is fitted with patented inter-locking nylon end
shoes which ensure an extremely smooth and quiet operation.
The bottom rail is a specially designed alloy extrusion which inter-connects with the main lath section to form a one piece curtain and will accommodate a full range of locking devices.
Removable and reversible finger rails are supplied as standard and hard wearing nylon end blocks are fitted to reduce play.
Each Solid Lath Shutter is supplied with heat treated extruded alloy side channels with galvanised steel side channels being available if required. The spring barrel assembly, supplied as a pre-tensioned unit, consists of helical springing contained in
102mm diameter extruded alloy tubing mounted on 16mm diameter steel rod. Nylon end bushes are used for durability and to reduce maintenance costs.
The Alloy Solid Lath Shutter is available as standard in mill finish as extruded. Anodised finishes are
also obtainable in either 15 microns (interior quality) or 25 microns (exterior quality). Colours
available are Silver and Gold. The Solid Lath Shutter is also available in galvanised steel lath.
With the addition of 45 degree or 90 degree comer and centre stanchions. The solid lath shutter is
suitable for multi-shutter installations.
